In India i had seen it many times that Moms give their child a spoon of sweet curd before appearing in Exam and actually my Mom also do so till now. But most of these people in India and around the world do not know the actual reason behind it. So, I decided to do some research and find out the truth behind it and found out some really knowledgeable and must share stuff.

Why eat curd with sugar before any important work?

Well there are two type of belief behind this Tradition. One is traditional belief i.e. what people believe and other is scientific belief . We will talk about both traditional and scientific (or ancient) belief with some of its history one by one:

◾Traditional Belief (what people think):

People thinks that this will increase positive waves in body and will absorb all the negative waves.

◾Scientific (Ancient) Belief:

It turns out that a quick increase in sugar levels in a human body not only increases the energy levels, but increases the willpower as well - the ability of conscious control. With increased sugar levels, we become less irritable, and persevere more – an ideal mindset in an exam hall. This will help to get self-control.

So, next time when there is a exam , don't forget to take sweet curd. It doesn't mean you will clear exam only by taking curd , you need to work hard also(LOL). It will help you to focus during exam. And our ancestors were way too intelligent than our imagination , they knew this fact at that time.
